Every Solutions In Sight system contains a Windows-based software program which allows you to scientifically customize the combination of text and background colors on your VDT screen that are best suited to you. The optimizer works with most Windows text applications. Your favorite color combinations are instantly available using "hot keys".

Most of us have well-defined preferences for color combinations on the screen. These may vary according to mood, time of day, lighting conditions, the task at hand or the software application being used. There are color combinations which promote calm or increase stress, and others which are known to stimulate the eye's focusing system for sharper vision, or encourage it to relax. And sometimes, where color is concerned, "a change is as good as a rest".

The Color Optimizer comes with eight, carefully-selected, pre-defined text and background color combinations. Users can scientifically customize their workstation, redefining some or all of these default settings, selecting from over 50,000 of possible combinations. Of course, simple black-on-white is always available.
