How to install the Relax Your Eyes Image Collection

For Windows 9X, Me, and 2000

The Relax Your Eyes Image Collection is a freeware add-on to the Solutions
in Sight Computer Eyestrain Solution.  It has been provided to you by Eye 2
Eye Inc., which claims no rights to it.  The images are the property of
their respective authors and have been obtained from various undocumented
Internet sources as well as from The Webshots Corporation.

There are 2 steps to the installation procedure:

 

                     I.     Installing the Webshots program

                   II.     Configuring Webshots to use the Relax Your Eyes Image Collection and to activate the hotkeys.


Installing the Webshots Program:


1.  Insert the Eye2Eye CD ROM into your CD ROM drive.

2.  The Eye2Eye software installation routine will automatically begin. If it does not, proceed to step 5.

3.  Click on Cancel.

4.  Click on Exit Setup.

5.  With the Eye2Eye CD ROM still in the CD ROM drive, from the Windows Desktop, double click on My Computer.

6.  Right click on the CD drive icon (Eye2Eye).

7.  Left click selecting "Explore".

8.  On the LEFT side of your window, double-click on the Webshots Folder
icon.

9.  On the RIGHT side of your window, double-click on the file icon for
"webscene.exe" or "webscene".

10.  The Webshots installation program will guide you through the setup.

11.  Click on Next in the Welcome screen.

12.  Click on Next for the License Agreement.

13.  Click on Next for the Destination.

14.  Click on Next for "Ready to Install".

15.  Click on Finish to complete the installation.

16.  Wait while the program completes the task.

17.  Click on Close in the "… New Photos Every Day" window.

18.  Click on OK for any Quick Notes that appear.

19.  Deselect the checked box, "Webshots Scenic Sampler".

20.  Click on OK for Quick Note - "No collections currently checked".

21.  Now you must minimize the Webshot program by left clicking on the
"minus sign" at the top right corner of the Webshots Desktop Window.

 

Configuring Webshots for the Relax Your Eyes Image Collection –

Adding the Images

 

With Webshots still open from the installation above, add the relaxing
images collection:

1.  Continuing from the last step above, find the Web Shots Folder icon on
the left side of your window (in Explore) and double-click the Web Shots
folder icon.

2.  On the right side of your window, double-click on the folder icon for
Relaxing Images or Relaxing Images.exe.

3.  You will now see the Install Shield Wizard.

4.  Click on Next for the Welcome Screen.

5.  Click on Next for the File location and save file in folder

     “C:\ Program F \ Eye2Eye\ Solution”.
6.  The installation is now complete.  Click on Finish.

7.  Maximize the Webshots Desktop Program by LEFT clicking on the minimized Webshots Desktop icon at the bottom of your screen.

8.  Click on the "Collections" button.

9.  Click on "Make New".

10.  Enter the name of the Collection by typing "Eye2Eye".

11.  Click on OK.

12.  Click on the "Photos" button.

13.  Click on "Add New".

14.  If you see one or more "Quick Note" windows, click on OK for each one
you see.

15.  In the Open Window, from the "Look in" drop down list, scroll to
select c:\programf\eye2eye\solution. (Do NOT look in c:\program files.)

16. Click on the first image file, birds.jpg.

17.  Press and hold the SHIFT button on your keyboard. While pressing the SHIFT button, click on the last file on the list, wolves.jpg.  This will select all the files from the list.

18.  Release the SHIFT button.

19.  Press "Open" to add the files to the Eye2Eye Gallery.

20.  Click on the "Settings" button.

21.  Click on the "Wallpaper" tab.

22.  Uncheck (de-select) the "Use Webshots Wallpaper on Desktop" box.

23.  Click on the "Screen Saver" tab.

24.  Uncheck (de-select) the "Use Webshots as Screen Saver" box.

25.  Adjust the "Display Each Image for" box to 60 seconds. You can change this again later if you desire.

26.  Click on the "Quick Start" tab.

27.  Be sure to check (select) the "Start Screensaver by Pressing
Ctl+Shift+S".

28.  Uncheck the Cycle Wallpaper box.

29.  Click on the "Tray" tab.

30.  Check (select) the "Place Webshots on my task bar tray" box.

31.  Click on OK.

32.  To exit the Webshots program, left click on the "x" in the top right
corner of the Webshots screen.

33.  To close Explore, from the File menu, left click on the "x" in the top right
corner of the Explorer screen, or select File - Close.

34.  To disable the Webshots flashing-camera icon on your system tray desktop (bottom right corner of your screen), right click on it.

35.  Select the "Disable Camera…" button.

36.  Check the box "Disable Flashing Camera Completely".

37.  Click on OK.

38.  The Flashing Camera is now disabled.

 


Quick Tips

q      When it is time for your vision break, press the hotkeys Ctl+Shift+S and relax your eyes by viewing the 3D images.

q      To advance to the next image, press Ctl+Shift+S. If you do nothing, the 3D image will automatically change every 60 seconds.

q      To turn off the 3 D image move your mouse, or press any key.

q      You may increase or decrease the display time of each image by clicking on the "screen saver" tab in the Webshots Program, and altering the "Display Time".

q      To disable the flashing camera, follow the instructions above.

q      Don't forget to stand and stretch during part of your vision break.

q      Instill your ocular lubricant eyedrops with each pop up reminder.  Follow directions as described on the lubricant container and box.


To Uninstall the Webshots Program:

 

1.  From the Start menu, select Settings.

2.  Select Control Panel.

3.  Double-click on the "Add/Remove Programs" icon.

4.  Scroll to find Web Shots.

5.  Left click on Web Shots.

6.  Left click on Add/Remove.

7.  Select Yes (Webshots Uninstaller).

8.  Select No (to the survey question "Why are you removing...").

9.  Webshots is now uninstalled.

10.  Close the Add/Remove Program.

 

11.    Close Control Panel.


12.  Double-click My Computer.

13.  Right click on C Drive.

14.  Select Explore.

15.  Select your C Drive.

16.  On the right side of the window, scroll to find "ProgramF" and single
left click on programf.  (DO NOT CLICK ON program files !!!!)

17.  On your keyboard, press the Delete button.

18.  Select Yes (Confirmation to delete programf).

19.  This completes the removal of the image files.

20.  From the File menu, select Close.

21.  To close My Computer, from the File menu, select Close.
